bring your own domain

Point any domain you control at spam.is and every address at it becomes a disposable inbox, just like whatever@spam.is. There's still no account: the management key you get back when you add a domain is the only thing that can verify or remove it later, so save it somewhere before you close this tab.

How It Works

  1. Enter your domain below. You'll get a management key and two DNS records to add.
  2. At your DNS provider, add an MX record pointing the domain at mail.spam.is, and a TXT record proving you control it.
  3. Wait for DNS to propagate (usually minutes, sometimes longer), then hit "Check Verification" in the list below.
  4. Once verified, any address at your domain works exactly like @spam.is - check inboxes from the main page using name@yourdomain.com.

Lost the management key? DNS control is the only thing that ever actually proved the domain was yours, so it's also enough to get a new key - see "Lost Your Management Key?" further down. It doesn't touch mail already flowing to the domain.

This list only lives in this browser. Cleared your data or switched devices but still have the management key saved elsewhere (password manager, notes)? Re-add it below, no DNS changes needed.

Removing a domain here stops new mail from being accepted for it. It doesn't reach into mail already delivered - existing inboxes on that domain still expire on the usual schedule, same as any spam.is address.

Lost Your Management Key?

No key, no problem, as long as you still control the domain's DNS. This works whether or not the domain still shows up in "My Domains" above (that list only lives in this browser).
