Terms of Service

Short version: don't be a criminal about it.

1. What this is

spam.is provides disposable email addresses on a catch-all basis. There are no accounts, and anyone who knows an address can read or delete it. The service is provided as-is, with no uptime or delivery guarantee.

2. Acceptable use

You may not use spam.is to:

• Send or facilitate phishing, malware distribution, or fraud
• Harass, threaten, or dox another person
• Receive stolen goods, credentials, or data obtained illegally
• Violate any applicable law

Using it to dodge newsletters, test signups, or avoid giving out your real address to sites you don't trust is exactly what it's for.

3. No warranty

Mail may be delayed, dropped, or deleted early. Attachments are passed through unfiltered, we don't scan them, so don't open anything you wouldn't open from a stranger. Use at your own risk.

4. Enforcement

There's no account to ban. If an address or pattern of use is abusive, we may block it, rate-limit it, or stop accepting mail for it entirely, without notice. The one exception is custom domains: adding one issues a managementKey, shown once, required to verify or remove it. Lose it and current DNS control of the domain is enough to get a new one - see the recovery flow on the domains page. We may also stop accepting mail for a custom domain without notice if it's used abusively.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, spam.is is not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, including lost, delayed, or exposed mail.

6. Changes

These terms may change. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
